1. Information We Collect

When you create a SAVR account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. When you use the app, we may also collect information about the deals you browse, claim, and redeem, as well as your payment method details (processed securely by our payment provider).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the SAVR platform, process transactions, personalise your experience (such as showing deals near you), communicate with you about your account or deals, improve our services, and ensure the security of the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. SAVR Key Data

Your SAVR Key is a unique digital identifier tied to your account. When a restaurant scans your SAVR Key, we record the redemption event (time, restaurant, and deal details) to apply your discount and prevent duplicate claims. SAVR Key data is stored securely and is not shared with other diners.

4. Location Data

SAVR uses your device location to show flash deals near you on the live map. Location data is only accessed when the app is in use and you have granted permission. We do not track your location in the background. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this may limit the app's ability to show nearby deals.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. SAVR does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We support Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major credit and debit cards. All transactions are encrypted and processed in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for analytics, push notifications, payment processing, and hosting. These services may collect limited data as described in their own privacy policies. We only work with providers that meet our data protection standards and process data in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. While no system is 100% secure, we are committed to protecting your information and responding promptly to any security incidents.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information directly in the app, or contact us to request data export or deletion. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with UAE financial regulations. Anonymised and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of SAVR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
